Send files and text — securely, once

EasyBin is a temporary transfer service for moving text and files between devices. Content is encrypted in your browser with AES-256-GCM before it touches our servers, delivered on first read, and then permanently deleted. No registration. No ads in the transfer flow. No tracking.

Two security modes

Quick PIN — A short 4-12 digit PIN doubles as both the retrieval code and the decryption secret. Perfect for moving content between your own phones, laptops, or tablets in seconds.

Secure link — A 64-byte random token is split: the verification half's hash goes to the server, while the decryption half stays in your browser's URL fragment. The server can never read your content — even if the entire backend were compromised.

Zero-knowledge encryption

Every file and text snippet is encrypted with AES-256-GCM in your browser before upload. In secure-link mode, the encryption key is derived via HKDF-SHA-512 from the tokenization fragment — we never receive the full key. Authenticated Additional Data (AAD) binds each payload to its bin identifier and expiry, so tampered ciphertext fails decryption automatically.

Exactly-once delivery

Content is consumed on first successful retrieval. The paste record is deleted immediately and any encrypted blob is queued for permanent removal. Expired transfers are also cleaned up by Durable Object alarms with a 15-minute cron safety net.

Privacy-first design

We don't require accounts, don't sell data, and don't set tracking cookies. All fonts are self-hosted. Abuse prevention uses first-party proof-of-work and hashed per-IP throttling — no third-party fingerprinting or analytics scripts. See our full security model and privacy policy for technical depth.

How to transfer a file in 4 steps

  1. Open EasyBin on your device — no account needed.
  2. Paste text or attach a file. It encrypts in your browser instantly.
  3. Share the Quick PIN or Secure link with your recipient.
  4. They open it on their device — content decrypts locally and burns after one read.

Works everywhere

EasyBin is a progressive web app — install it on your home screen for a native-like experience on iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS. No download from an app store required. Camera capture, QR scanning, and offline recovery are all built into the web interface.

Is EasyBin really encrypted?

Yes. All content is encrypted in your browser using AES-256-GCM before it reaches our servers. In secure-link mode, the decryption key is derived via HKDF-SHA-512 from a 64-byte token — the server only ever sees a SHA-256 hash of the verification half.

Do I need to install or register?

No. EasyBin is a web-based PWA that works in any modern browser. You can also install it on your home screen — no accounts, no software downloads, no payment required.

How is this different from WeTransfer or Dropbox?

EasyBin encrypts your content in the browser so we can never read it. WeTransfer and Dropbox encrypt in transit but hold decryption keys on their servers. EasyBin is zero-knowledge and auto-deletes after one read.

How long does a transfer last?

You choose: 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, or 1 day. Content is also consumed permanently after the first successful retrieval, whichever comes first.

Is EasyBin free?

Yes. EasyBin has no paid tiers, no account limits, and no watermarks. A clearly labelled sponsored link may appear to help cover hosting costs, but it never interrupts your transfer.
